When she was 11 years old, she auditioned for the role of Judy Shepherd in the family film Jumanji. However, Scarlett was not able to get the role because it was given to already-established child actor Kirsten Dunst whose performance in Interview with the Vampire earned a Golden Globe nomination, based on the article in Mental Floss.
